- <abstract abstract-type="main"> <title>ABSTRACT</title> <sec id="scd12035-sec-0010" sec-type="section"> <title>Objectives</title> <p>To examine the oral health knowledge and practices of pediatric nurses who coordinate healthcare services for special needs children and to identify those factors that influenced their perceived effectiveness in managing their patients' oral health needs.</p> </sec> <sec id="scd12035-sec-0020" sec-type="section"> <title>Methods</title> <p>Self‐reported data were collected from 376 nurses employed at Children's Medical Services who responded to an online survey.
