Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>A copper‐catalyzed radical oxidative trifluoromethylation and arylation of electron‐withdrawing alkenes has been developed, in which economical sodium trifluoromethanesulfinate is used as the CF₃ source. A preliminary kinetic investigation indicated that the generation of CF₃ radicals under the mild conditions might be a facile process.</p> </abstract>
