<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="admi201300029-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>A microporous, conjugated polymer</bold> with a conformation‐variable stack structure is highly responsive to a change in the surface tension of water, either physicochemically or electronically.
