<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="adma201470052-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>A general approach to synthesize complex and highlevel systems from carbon nanotube (CNT) sponges and arrays is described by Z. Tang, A. Cao, X. Gui and co‐workers on page 1248. A scalable synthesis technique is demonstrated for the production of a patterned spongearray parallel structure, with synergistic elastic response under compression.
