Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>A layered zinc(II) coordination polymer, Zn(SPh)(im) (<bold>1</bold>), was synthesized under solvothermal conditions. This compound exhibits a sql topology with zinc thiolate chains cross‐linked by imidazolate ligands. To further incorporate S^2– ions into the synthetic system, the animidazole‐ligated P1 cluster, Zn₈S(SPh)₁₄(Him)₂<bold>·</bold>PhSSPh (<bold>2</bold>), was isolated and structurally characterized.</p> </abstract>
