- <abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>ZnO@Zn<sub>3</sub>P<sub>2</sub> quantum dots (QDs)</bold> are synthesized, with emission from yellow to red. Photoelectrochemical investigations reveal that the current and voltage of the QD‐derivatized electrodes show a response upon illumination. A photocurrent of ca. 8 nA cm<sup>−2</sup> for a monolayer of ZnO@Zn<sub>3</sub>P<sub>2</sub> QDs deposited on indium tin oxide (ITO) electrode is recorded. <boxed-text content-type="graphic" position="anchor" orientation="portrait"><graphic position="anchor" mimetype="image" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgg4t8dd9fs" orientation="portrait" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" /></boxed-text></p> </abstract>
