- <abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Ternary‐/hetero‐nanocrystals:</bold> a facile one‐pot colloidal route for controlled synthesis of ternary AgFeS<sub>2</sub> nanocrystals, which have a band gap of 1.21 eV, is presented for the first time. Such ternary AgFeS<sub>2</sub> nanocrystals can transform to Ag<sub>2</sub>S‐Fe<sub>7</sub>S<sub>8</sub> heterodimers by internal thermal reaction at elevated temperature, providing a new route to synthesize semiconductor hetero‐nanostructures. <boxed-text content-type="graphic" position="anchor" orientation="portrait"><graphic position="anchor" mimetype="image" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgg4t8bw02x" orientation="portrait" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" /></boxed-text></p> </abstract>
