<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p> <boxed-text content-type="graphic" position="anchor" orientation="portrait"> <graphic position="anchor" mimetype="image" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgg4t6phxzk" orientation="portrait" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" /> </boxed-text> </p> <p>We demonstrate the epitaxial growth of alternating InP–InAs nanowire heterostructures using Cu seed particles in MOVPE. We observe extraordinary early stages in the formation of InAs segments, e.g. three‐dimensional nucleation instead of step‐flow growth.
