- <abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>The cover picture shows</bold> a cocrystal with repeated 8‐F‐atom unit as basic structural motif, which is assembled based on combination of bifurcated CI···N···IC σ‐hole bond and antiparallel double π‐hole···F bonds by 1, 2‐diiodotetrafluorobenzene and acridine. The concepts on the σ‐hole and π‐hole bonds are suggested based on the physical framework, the molecular surface electrostatic potential, which can be considered as another nomenclative system of fashionable halogen/chalcogen/pnicogen/silicogen bonds and anion‐π interaction, respectively. The combination of the two bonds or together with other weak interactions could play a key role in assembling function materials, molecular recognition and design of drugs and so on.
