Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>High‐throughput evolutionary studies</bold> are now possible with the technology introduced by P. Garstecki et al. in their Communication on <ext-link ext-link-type="doi" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">page 8908 ff.</ext-link>. They demonstrate a microfluidic device for manipulating and monitoring hundreds of bacterial populations at the same time.
