<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Magnificent seven</bold>: The chlorosulfolipid mytilipin A was synthesized in racemic form in seven steps and in enantioenriched form in eight steps. Key transformations include a highly diastereoselective bromoallylation of a sensitive α, β‐dichloroaldehyde, a kinetic resolution of a vinyl epoxide, a convergent and highly <italic>Z</italic>‐selective alkene cross‐metathesis, and a chemoselective and diastereoselective dichlorination of a complex diene.<boxed-text content-type="graphic" position="anchor" orientation="portrait"><graphic position="anchor" mimetype="image" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgg37r9mgk4" orientation="portrait" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" /></boxed-text></p> </abstract>
