<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Pumped up</bold>: Building an autoinductive, self‐propagating reaction directly into a polymer has resulted in stimuli‐responsive materials that are capable of remembering the presence of a stimulus, even after the stimulus is no longer present.
