<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>Iodine has made a long journey from being a table salt additive to the key element in efficient chiral reagents. In their Communication on <ext-link ext-link-type="doi" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">page 7018 ff.</ext-link> T. Wirth and co‐workers describe the utilization of such reagents in stereoselective oxidative rearrangements of alkenes.
