Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <italic> <bold>(6‐4) DNA photoproducts</bold> </italic> as potential intrinsic DNA photosensitizers are discussed by V. Lhiaubet‐Vallet, M. A. Miranda, et al. in their Communication on <ext-link ext-link-type="doi" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">page 6476 ff.</ext-link> 5‐Methyl‐2‐pyrimidone deoxyribonucleoside was shown to photosensitize the DNA damage, acting as a Trojan horse.
