Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>A (photo)sensitive subject</bold>: Combined agarose gel electrophoresis and photochemical studies show that 5‐methyl‐2‐pyrimidone (see picture), the main chromophore of (6‐4) photoproducts, behaves as a DNA photosensitizer.
