<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>A 'Phen'atic</bold>: The title reaction proceeds in the presence of the chiral cationic ruthenium diamine catalyst (<italic>R</italic>, <italic>R</italic>)‐<bold>1</bold> (Tf=trifluoromethanesulfonyl, Ts=4‐toluenesulfonyl).
