<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Two steps in one pot</bold>: An enzyme cascade consisting of a lyase and an (<italic>R</italic>)‐ or (<italic>S</italic>)‐selective ω‐transaminase (TA) provides (1<italic>R</italic>, 2<italic>R</italic>)‐norpseudoephedrine and (1<italic>R</italic>, 2<italic>S</italic>)‐norephedrine in only two steps. The intermediate is not isolated in this one‐pot reaction and the products are obtained in high enantio‐ and diastereomeric purity.
