<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Spin transitions</bold> in nanosized materials can be detected using a highly sensitive hybrid sensor, which combines anisotropic magnetoresistive and planar Hall effects. In their Communication on <ext-link ext-link-type="doi" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">page 1185 ff., </ext-link> F. Terki, C. G. Kim, A. Bousseksou, and co‐workers describe a prototype of the sensor and discuss its use for nanoscale magnetic measurements around room temperature.
