<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Mild Magic</bold>: A mild, enantioselective Diels–Alder reaction, catalyzed by a chiral magnesium phosphate species, has been developed for the synthesis of various chiral spirooxindoles.
