Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Sensitive</bold>: Several monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, for example <italic>p</italic>‐, <italic>m</italic>‐, <italic>o</italic>‐xylene, toluene, and benzene (<bold>1–5</bold>), were detected in a single measurement by using a planar infrared attenuated total reflection (IR‐ATR) fiberoptic sensor that was coated with ethylene/propylene copolymer.
