Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>A range of β‐amino nitriles</bold> containing contiguous tertiary and quaternary stereogenic carbon centers were synthesized by using the title reaction. The reaction was catalyzed by a chiral <italic>N</italic>, <italic>N</italic>′‐dioxide scandium(III) complex under mild reaction conditions.
