<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>A matter of phis</bold>: The size of macromolecules is determined by the "universal calibration" based on the Flory–Fox equation (see scheme). The effect of the segmental density of real branched systems on this equation is investigated.
