- <abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Raising the</bold> <sup> <bold>18</bold> </sup> <bold>F</bold> <sub> <bold>3</bold> </sub> <bold>‐BAr</bold>: Specific activities of most <sup>18</sup>F‐labeled radiotracers fall below 2 Ci μmol<sup>−1</sup>, yet <sup>18</sup>F‐aryltrifluoroborate synthesis affords specific activities as high as 15 Ci μmol<sup>−1</sup>. This has been confirmed by using click chemistry to link an [<sup>18</sup>F]‐ArBF<sub>3</sub><sup>−</sup> to rhodamine and thereby demonstrating a rapid and generalizable one‐pot method for preparing a fluorescent tracer with about 10‐fold higher specific activity than usual.<boxed-text content-type="graphic" position="anchor" orientation="portrait"><graphic position="anchor" mimetype="image" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgg1xm2h272" orientation="portrait" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" /></boxed-text></p> </abstract>
