<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>All aglow</bold>: Both a fluorescent biosensor, composed of a circularly permuted yellow fluorescent protein (cpYFP), and a small‐molecule fluorescent probe (<bold>1</bold>) for the detection of CO in living cells have been recently reported.
