Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="graphical"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>CVD diamond electrodes have been extensively studied in recent years, from the point of view of fundamental electrochemical properties as well as that of applications. Diamond electrodes are found to be attractive for electrochemical applications due to their physical, chemical, and electronic properties, e.g. high thermal conductivity; high hardness, and chemical inertness; a wide electrochemical potential window in aqueous and non‐aqueous media; a very low capacitance and a very high electrochemical stability. <boxed-text content-type="graphic" position="anchor" orientation="portrait"><graphic position="anchor" mimetype="image" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgg3j68xvx1" orientation="portrait" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" /></boxed-text></p> </abstract>
