- <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Herein, we report <italic>in situ</italic> synthesis of zinc sulphide (ZnS) quantum dots in polyphenylene sulphide (PPS) matrix employing facile solid–solid reaction. The resultant product reveals formation of cubic nanocrystalline zinc sulphide structure.
