<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="ppsc201370025-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>Hydrogel nanoparticles based on physically crosslinked poly(vinyl alcohol) are obtained via a combination of liposomal templating technique to produce polymer nanoparticles and subsequent non‐cryogenic polymer hydrogelation in aqueousisopropanol as described by Alexander N. Zelikin and co‐workers on page 514.
