Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Cover:</bold> Green composites can substitute for conventional polymer/synthetic fiber composites since they offer an attractive route to environmental waste management. However, there is a great concern about the supply chain of biofibers for the industrial fabrication of green composites. The hybrid biofibers may offer a solution to overcome this concern. In the present study, the mechanical performance of green composites of different biofibers and their hybrids is evaluated to measure their suitability for different applications.
