- <abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Front Cover:</bold> Photorefractive (PR) polymers are one of the most promising candidates for various holographic applications today. A weight‐average molecular weight of 860 000 g mol<sup>−1</sup> for poly(<italic>N</italic>‐vinylcarbazole) (PVCz) is determined to be optimized for a PVCz‐based PR device. A writing beam at 532 nm is the most appropriate wavelength of five kinds of writing beam. The optimization from the perspective of chemistry and physics will affect future PR studies.
