<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="humu22395-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>Ribbon representation of the model of the human ferroportin 3D structure. The structure is organized into two equivalent domains, each possessing six helices. Ribbons are rainbow colored (from blue to red) in the two halves to highlight the duplication and the equivalent helices.
