Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>A phytochemical investigation of the flowers of <italic>Rosa damascena</italic> resulted in the isolation of three new isoprenylated aurones, damaurones C–E (<bold>1</bold>–<bold>3</bold>, resp.), together with six known compounds, <bold>4</bold>–<bold>9</bold>. The structures of the new compounds were elucidated by spectroscopic methods, including extensive 1D‐ and 2D‐NMR experiments.</p> </abstract>
