- <abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Hybrid poly‐3‐hexylthiophene (P3HT)–Sb<sub>2</sub> S<sub>3</sub> nanocomposite films</bold> are formed by means of an in‐situ low‐temperature thermal decomposition of a solution‐processable antimony xanthate precursor in a polymer film. Transient optical spectroscopy and photovoltaic device studies suggest that charge separation and current generation in Sb<sub>2</sub>S<sub>3</sub>:P3HT based devices results mainly from Sb<sub>2</sub>S<sub>3</sub> light absorption and subsequent hole‐transfer from the inorganic semiconductor to the organic hole transporting material. <boxed-text content-type="graphic" position="anchor" orientation="portrait"><graphic position="anchor" mimetype="image" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgg36h3q9gc" orientation="portrait" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" /></boxed-text></p> </abstract>
