Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="crat201300191-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>Polarization of the photoluminescence (PL) emission from a (Z)‐3‐(4‐(diphenylamino)phenyl)‐2‐(pyridin‐2‐yl)‐acrylonitrile (<bold>DPPyACN)</bold> single organic crystal was studied. The PL spectrum of the crystal consists of three highly polarized bands with different polarization ratios, being the spectral position of one of these bands the same as that of the PL emission of the molecule in dilute solutions.
