- <abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>The title composite</bold> was prepared and self‐assembled on carbon nanotubes (CNTs). Even after cleaning with UV/Ozone and electrochemical methods, the residual polyallylamine strongly influences the electronic structure of Pt. The resultant Pt‐NC/CNT nanohybrid shows superior electrochemical activity and stability towards the oxygen reduction reaction in H<sub>2</sub>SO<sub>4</sub> solutions compared with commercial Pt/C catalyst.<boxed-text content-type="graphic" position="anchor" orientation="portrait"><graphic position="anchor" mimetype="image" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgg2710w744" orientation="portrait" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" /></boxed-text></p> </abstract>
