Abstract:: <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>A tandem two‐step procedure for the synthesis of a series of furo[2, 3‐b]quinoxalines (IV) and ‐pyrazines (VII) is developed involving selective monoalkynylation of corresponding o‐dichloropyrazines followed by intramolecular cyclization.</p> </abstract>
