<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Single‐crystalline ultrathin, sea‐urchin‐like TiO<sub>2</sub> nanorods with a diameter of several nanometers and length up to 200 nm are synthesized from mixtures of TiOSO<sub>4</sub>, EtOH, H<sub>2</sub>O, and glycerol (autoclave, 150 °C, 36 h).</p> </abstract>
