<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>The response to light exposure of the As<sub>4</sub>S<sub>4</sub> molecule within the structure of (HgBr<sub>2</sub>)<sub>3</sub>(As<sub>4</sub>S<sub>4</sub>)<sub>2</sub> (space group P2<sub>1</sub>/c, Z = 2) is investigated by single crystal XRD, Raman spectroscopy, and relativistic DFT‐GGA band structure calculations.</p> </abstract>
