- <abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>Recent advances in molecular organic photovoltaics (OPVs) have brought 10% power conversion efficiency (PCE) for single‐junction cells, placing them in direct competition with amorphous silicon solar cells. Incorporation of plasmonic nanostructures for light trapping in these thin‐film devices offers an attractive means to realize higher‐efficiency OPVs with PCE>>10%, as reviewed by Zakya H. Kafafi, Qiaoqiang Gan, and Filbert J. Bartoli <ext-link ext-link-type="doi" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">on page 2385</ext-link>.
