<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Triclinic Gd<sub>1‐x</sub>Eu<sub>x</sub>BO<sub>3</sub> (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.1) nanophosphors are prepared by hydrothermal reaction of a stoichiometric mixture of Gd(OAc)<sub>3</sub> and Eu(OAc)<sub>3</sub> together with 25% excess H<sub>3</sub>BO<sub>3</sub> and H<sub>2</sub>O (autoclave, 180 °C, 5 h).</p> </abstract>
