<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Yellow single crystals of Cs<sub>3</sub>(UO<sub>2</sub>)<sub>2</sub>(PO<sub>4</sub>)O<sub>2</sub> are prepared by flux melting of the precursor (UO<sub>2</sub>)<sub>3</sub>(PO<sub>4</sub>)<sub>2</sub> (H<sub>2</sub>O)<sub>4</sub> using excess CsI as fluxing agent (Pt crucible, 750 °C, 10 h; 7 °C/h cooling rate).</p> </abstract>
