- <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Single crystals of CaUO<sub>4</sub> (I), β‐Ca<sub>3</sub>UO<sub>6</sub> (II), K<sub>4</sub>CaU<sub>3</sub>O<sub>12</sub> (III), and K<sub>4</sub>SrU<sub>3</sub>O<sub>12</sub> (IV) are grown from UO<sub>2</sub> or U<sub>3</sub>O<sub>8</sub> in a K<sub>2</sub>CO<sub>3</sub> flux in the presence or absence of CaCO<sub>3</sub> or SrCO<sub>3</sub> (alumina crucible, 900—1050 °C, 24—48 h).</p> </abstract>
