<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Attempts to obtain phase‐pure Ln₂Ru₃Al₁₅ (Ln: Ce, Gd) from the elements by either flux melting, induction heating, or arc melting show that the latter method is the most suitable one (alumina crucible, final annealing at 1150 °C, 6 d).</p> </abstract>
