- <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>The tin‐mediated coupling of indoles (I) with Tms‐enol ether (II) followed by HCl‐promoted ring closure and subsequent oxidation of intermediate alcohols leads to ketones (III), which are potential intermediates for the synthesis of hapalindole K (IVa) and ambiguine A (IVb).</p> </abstract>
