- <abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>A new type of "smart" single‐walled carbon nanotubes</bold> is created by wrapping a pyrene‐labeled CO<sub>2</sub>‐responsive polymer via π–π stacking. The polymer/SWNT hybrids not only undergo a hydrophobic–hydrophilic transition upon CO<sub>2</sub> stimulus of CO<sub>2</sub> in a mixed solvent, but also exhibit switchable dispersion/aggregation states upon the alternate bubbling of CO<sub>2</sub> and N<sub>2</sub> in pure water. <boxed-text content-type="graphic" position="anchor" orientation="portrait"><graphic position="anchor" mimetype="image" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgg1p9n5db9" orientation="portrait" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" /></boxed-text></p> </abstract>
