<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>Islets encapsulation is a promising approach for the treatment of Type I diabetes. <ext-link ext-link-type="doi" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">On page 667</ext-link>, Daniel G. Anderson and co‐workers report a novel design of microcapsules with core–shell structures using two‐fluid co‐axial electro‐jetting.
