<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>What's the damage?</bold> Trapping the C3′‐thymidinyl radical in biologically significant architectures delivers both the repaired oligomer and 1‐(2′‐deoxy‐β‐<sc>D</sc>‐<italic>threo</italic>‐pentofuranosyl)thymidine‐containing substrates.
