<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>A new method reported by Cheri X. Deng, Shuichi Takayama, and co‐workers <ext-link ext-link-type="doi" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">on page 3420</ext-link> for studying apoptosis adapts microbubbles commonly used for ultrasound imaging to open pores in cell membranes when ultrasound is applied.
