<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>The coincidence lattice formed between a Mo(001) surface and a MgO thin film is used to prepare Fe nanoparticle ensembles with high spatial uniformity. As reported by Jacek Goniakowski, Niklas Nilius, and co‐workers <ext-link ext-link-type="doi" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">on page 75</ext-link>, the ordered growth of Fe is initiated by regular work function modulations and geometric distortions of the oxide layer across the coincidence cell. <boxed-text content-type="graphic" position="anchor" orientation="portrait"><graphic position="anchor" mimetype="image" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgg1p8qfkcs" orientation="portrait" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" /></boxed-text></p> </abstract>
