Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <italic> <bold>The nuclear Overhauser effect</bold> </italic> …︁ …︁ (NOE) is used for studying the local structures in ionic liquids. In their Communication on <ext-link ext-link-type="doi" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">page 9242 ff.</ext-link>, H. Weingärtner et al. report a new model theory that makes it possible to analyze intermolecular ¹H‐¹⁹F NOE data of 1‐butyl‐3‐methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate.
