- <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Ca<sub>9</sub>Y(PO<sub>4</sub>)<sub>7</sub>:Eu<sup>3+</sup> phosphors are prepared by solid state reaction of stoichiometric amounts of CaCO<sub>3</sub>, (NH<sub>4</sub>)<sub>2</sub>HPO<sub>4</sub>, Y<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>, and Eu<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> (calcination in air, ≥1100 °C, 5 h).</p> </abstract>
